Access to justice has been at the heart of Jacoby & Meyers since the firm was founded: the belief that quality legal representation shouldn’t be reserved for the few, but available to everyone. So it was especially fitting to see Managing Partner Andrew Finkelstein, in his role as President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA), welcome hundreds of attorneys and legal professionals to NYSTLA’s annual Law Day Gala at Cipriani Wall Street.
The evening was a celebration of leadership, excellence in advocacy, and a shared commitment to protecting the civil justice system and ensuring equal access to justice for all, principles that have defined the way Jacoby & Meyers serves New Yorkers for decades.
A Night Recognizing Champions of Justice
The gala honored a remarkable slate of leaders whose work has expanded and defended the rights of everyday people:
- Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker
- Hon. Jenny Rivera
- Ben Crump, the nationally recognized civil rights attorney
- John Zaremba, incoming NYSTLA President
Recognizing advocates like these speaks directly to what drives our firm. Whether we’re representing an injured worker, a family navigating a tragedy, or a client up against a powerful insurance company, our mission is the same: make sure ordinary people have a real voice in the justice system.
Advocacy Beyond a Single Case
As both NYSTLA President and Managing Partner of the firm, Andrew Finkelstein remains dedicated to advancing the rights of injured individuals and building a legal system that is fair, transparent, and accessible. His leadership within NYSTLA carries that mission to the statewide stage, working to strengthen the civil justice system and protect access to the courts for every New Yorker.
Committed to the Communities We Serve
