Our 29-year-old client was driving on a clear summer day in Jersey City, New Jersey, when another driver ignored a stop sign and plowed into her vehicle. The other driver initially attempted to blame a parked commercial truck for the crash, claiming he couldn’t see the stop sign that he ran. When police investigated the scene they found the major contributing factor to the crash was the driver’s inattention, not the van.
