$2,480,250 Federal Court Verdict For 13-Year-Old Pedestrian

While waiting for a bus on a street corner, our client was struck by the side view mirror of a bakery truck that took the turn too close. The truck driver claimed our client stepped into the path of the truck and argued he did nothing wrong. Our client suffered a fractured skull, broken nose and jaw. Trial Partner Sharon Scanlan argued to a White Plains Federal Court jury of seven that the truck was fully responsible for hitting our client and the jury agreed. After a four-day trial a jury verdict of $2,480,250 was awarded.
