This school year New York City school teachers, coupled with the Department of Transportation will educate 270,000 students in grades 4 through grade 6 about traffic safety.
The program is designed to target students who are likely to travel without supervision. The students will learn about how to best navigate busy city streets in an attempt to reduce the number of children hurt or killed in traffic accidents.
According to data from the Department of Transportation over 1,000 children were hit by vehicles in 2015. Jacoby & Meyers is dedicated to helping our cities smallest commuters remain injury free.
