In 1991, Mr. Gross earned his Juris Doctor degree from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  While there he participated in the Tax Law clinic and was invited to be an instructor of business law for a college course. He was also the editor of his year book.
He is admitted to the New York State Bar, New Jersey State Bar, United States District Courts for the Southern-Northern-Eastern District of New York, Supreme Court of the United States and United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). In his position with previous law firms, he has handled cases from inception to trial in a wide variety of practice areas and general corporate law.

As a managing attorney with Finkelstein & Partners, David has handled thousands of plaintiff’s personal injury cases, including death cases, head injury cases and multiple fracture cases in both New York and New Jersey.  Early in his career with Finkelstein and Partners, he realized the difficulty his clients were having with injuries related to head trauma. He took it upon himself to become familiar with and be an advocate for, his client’s medical care. This enabled him to ensure they get the specialized care they need and deserve.   Thereafter, he was invited to join the Neurolaw Trial Group.   His area of specialization includes handling difficult injury cases and researching liability, as well as working with experts to obtain the necessary elements for a case.  His energy is completely focused on the needs of his clients and bringing their cases to the best possible conclusion.  He has been instrumental in securing and negotiating million dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. He has been featured on the radio regarding the proper way to proceed with a motor vehicle case.

Prior to coming Finkelstein and Partners, Mr. Gross was a partner in a small firm. He was also a Court appointed Law Guardian whose duty was to protect the rights of children. He has been happily married to his wife Rita, a High School teacher, since 1992.

David loves hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and cross-country skiing.   He is actively involved in the American Canoe and Kayak Club and is a member of other kayak clubs as well.  He is also a volunteer at a local soup kitchen.
