Antonio S. Grillo is a trial attorney with Jacoby & Meyers, LLC. Prior to his working with the firm, Mr. Grillo began his legal career as an attorney with the New York State Attorney General’s Office. He later became a senior trial attorney with Allstate Insurance Company, leading to a position as outside trial counsel for various insurance companies. Mr. Grillo gained valuable knowledge how insurance companies evaluate, settle, and defend cases. These unique skills that he brings to our firm allow us to provide the most zealous representation to our clients. He has represented plaintiffs who have sustained various catastrophic injuries as a result of all types of accidents. Most recently, he was on trial for over a month representing a passenger who was injured in a collision involving a police vehicle that had made an illegal turn. As a result of that collision, our client had to undergo several surgeries due to the injuries she sustained. Through his efforts he was able to obtain a settlement against the City of New York in the amount of $4,500,000.00.

A jury verdict in Federal Court of nearly $300,000.00, in case where he represented a 65-year-old MTA bus driver that sustained a back injury due to the crash.

A settlement in Federal Court of $275,000.00, in case where he represented a client who re-injured her knee when she slipped and fell due to a wet floor in a housing project.

A settlement of $250,000.00 after private mediation, on a case where our client was injured in a motor vehicle accident and had to undergo an arthroscopy on a previously diagnosed degenerative knee condition.

A settlement of $250,000.00 on behalf of an infant who was injured in a motor vehicle accident whereby an intoxicated driver collided with the vehicle the infant was a passenger in. A portion of the settlement money came from the bar where the intoxicated driver had been drinking prior to the collision.

Through these cases and many similar ones, Mr. Grillo has managed to recovered millions of dollars on behalf of our clients.
