Jacoby & Meyers is proud to partner with New York Cares for the second year as both a Stand with Students Sponsor and the Brooklyn School Sponsor. As such, we’re privileged to sustain New York Cares programming that serves thousands of students across more than one hundred projects and schools in Brooklyn. Additionally, Jacoby & Meyers is supplying backpacks filled with school supplies to every school child that needs one in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens.

Jacoby & Meyers and New York Cares ‘Stand with Students’ 2024
On Wednesday, September 4th Marketing Assistant Rane and Trial Attorney Xavier joined New York Cares in lower Manhattan to hand out backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school children. Over 500 children will be receiving backpacks at that single school.
On Tuesday, September 10th Trial Attorney Sharon Scanlan and marketing director Danielle Mackey joined New York Cares volunteers to distribute 300 backpacks and school supplies to some of the children at PS/MS 31 X as part of the overall 20,000 students we are collectively supporting across New York City.

A Day at West Point Supporting the Army Black Knights
This past Saturday, September 21st, 140 firm employees enjoyed an outing to Michie Stadium at West Point to cheer on the Army Black Knights as they faced the Rice Owls. The day began with a lively indoor tailgate at the West Point Club, where firm members and their families were treated to a brunch while enjoying the West Point cadet parade. It was a great day filled with camaraderie, team spirit, and an impressive victory by the Black Knights!
Empowering Future Women in Law: Bronx County Bar Association’s Women’s History Month Event
This past Friday, our attorney’s, Gustavo Alzugaray and Mike Zaransky, had the privilege of joining the Women’s History Month event hosted by the Bronx County Bar Association in collaboration with the 12th JD Gender Fairness Committee and the Board of Judges. The event was a wonderful opportunity to educate and inspire young women to pursue careers in law. We were also proud to contribute by distributing gift bags filled with firm swag to the attendees.

OUR PUBLIC SAFETY CAMPAIGN IN THE BRONX AND QUEENS
