Karen O’Brien was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1993. She joined the firm that same year and has been an advocate for disabled workers ever since. Karen specializes in Workers’ Compensation and has successfully represented countless injured workers in connection with their claims for benefits. She now concentrates on the settlement of Workers’ Compensation cases.

Throughout the course of her career, Karen has had the opportunity to speak at union conferences and to educate working people of their rights when an on-the-job accident occurs. She is a member of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association. Karen served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Bar Association from May of 2012 to May of 2014.

Karen se licenció en la Universidad George Washington. Se graduó con matrícula de honor y fue admitida en la sociedad de honor Phi Beta Kappa. Posteriormente, obtuvo su título de Juris Doctor en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Villanova.
