Cyclist, 74, is Killed by Car in Bensonhurst

A 74-year-old cyclist was struck and killed by a motorist in Brooklyn on Monday, May 27. The victim was hit near Bay 26th Street and Benson Avenue in Bensonhurst just after 12pm. He died at the scene. The woman behind the wheel of the vehicle remained at the scene. Police stand by the scene where the cyclist was struck and killed.
