3 Arrested in Connection to 5-Alarm Bronx Fire

On Thursday, June 22nd a roaring fire broke out in a Bronx neighborhood. The fire began on Olmstead Avenue and spread to six other houses. Two of the six homes will be demolished due to extensive damage caused by the fire.

Eight firefighters were injured and numerous families lost everything in a blaze that authorities believe could have been prevented.

On Sunday, June 25th FDNY Fire Marshals arrested three Bronx men believed to have started the fire with the use of illegal fireworks. Each man will face a number of charges, including: fourth-degree arson, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, and so on.
