A Queens toddler is recovering from a brutal dog attack that occurred in early July. According to authorities, a pit bull bit the toddler outside of the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst. Several witnesses attempted to intervene as the dog reportedly dragged the little girl back and forth. Eventually the dog released the little girl, who was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Later the same day a mother and daughter were the victims of a vicious attack outside of an East Harlem apartment building. According to officials the dog broke free from its owner. Police officers responded and were able to intervene. Both the mother and daughter were transported to Harlem Hospital.
