On Sunday, February 28th 4 pedestrians were victimized in hit and runs throughout NYC. Tragically 3 of the 4 died. The one surviving victim is in serious condition.
Where did the incidents occur?
- The Bronx: The victim, a 63 year old man was struck by a black SUV. His injuries were fatal.
- Brooklyn: A cyclist in the Park Slope area was struck near Ninth St. and Fifth Ave by a gold sedan. The cyclist later died at an area hospital.
- Queens: An unidentified man was struck near South Richmond Park and left unconscious in the street. The man died, a description of the vehicle is not yet available.
- South Jamaica, Queens: A young woman, just 22 years old, was hit by a mini van. She was transported to Jamaica hospital where she is currently in critical condition.
