On Sunday, January 10th an Elmhurst man was rushed to a local hospital after crashing into a concrete barrier.
According to Authorities the victim was driving an SUV just around noon when he lost control and veered across three lanes of traffic.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital but sadly died as a result of his injuries.
Police sources investigating the crash speculate the man may have suffered a heart attack prior to the incident.
According to the US Department of transportation:
“A review of the literature suggests that sudden or natural death while driving due to cardiac and other illnesses is a rare event.”
