The MTA is investigating two Long Island Rail Road trains that collided Friday evening.
According to officials, one of the conductors reported being sliced by another train. The impact was relatively minor and no injuries were reported.
Train safety is an ongoing issue for the MTA and the thousands of people that utilize its services every day. Some say technology will be the key to preventing deadly accidents, like the Philadelphia Crash earlier this year.
