Early Sunday morning a rowboat on the New Croton Reservoir, about 22 miles north of New York City, capsized.
There were two passengers on the boat. One died in the incident, and the other was hospitalized.
According to Department of Environmental Protection the passengers were not wearing life vests, however there were two life vests on the vessel.
