A Salem County free clinic has been shut down after an audit found a 2 year old boy received an excessive dose of a cervical cancer drug. At least 4 other children also received the wrong immunizations.
Additional findings from the audit included $20,000 worth of vaccines that hadn’t been properly refrigerated (all of which were disposed of.)
The Administration Committee of Board of Chosen Freeholders in Salem County has agreed to cover the costs of medical bills for any children given the wrong shots.
