Last week a driver heading west on East 129th street in Manhattan hit multiple construction barriers prior to rear ending a cyclist. The cyclist did not survive the crash.
According to authorities, the vehicle proceeded to rear end another vehicle, and fled that scene as well. Police officers had attempted to pull the car over in the Bronx after witnessing the driver run a red light. The car continued to Manhattan, where the fatal crash occurred. As of late last week no arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
